Title: Millers Apprenticeship Programme (MAPS) 2024

Job Purpose
  • This program is designed for individuals interested in developing technical skills and competencies in flour milling operations.
  • Over the course of the 2-year training period, successful candidates will receive comprehensive instruction in milling operations, machine design, plant operations, and milling techniques.
Typical Activities
  • Acquire knowledge of fundamental milling processes, techniques, designs, and plant operations.
  • Identify and understand the use of engineering tools.
  • Familiarize with the organizational structure of the workplace.
  • Perform basic maintenance tasks.
  • Understand and adhere to basic workplace safety protocols.
  • Learn fundamental workshop practices.
Qualification
  • GCE / NECO / GCE
Experience:
  • No prior experience required; the program is open to individuals with varying levels of experience.
The Ideal Candidate Should:
  • Demonstrate manual dexterity for technical and hands-on tasks.
  • Be willing to work in a milling production factory environment.
  • Possess good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Be a cooperative team player capable of working effectively with others.
