Job Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Software Development Manager / Lead to drive our technical excellence and innovation. In this pivotal role, you will oversee both front-end and back-end solutions, ensuring high-quality deliverables while fostering a culture of engineering and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Leadership: Provide hands-on technical leadership, ensuring clean and maintainable code. Make critical decisions on designs and deliveries.
• Solution Development: Lead the development of resilient, secure, and scalable front-end and back-end solutions.
• Team Culture: Establish and promote a culture focused on engineering and operational excellence. Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
• Project Oversight: Manage the delivery of high-speed iterations and ensure continuous improvement.
• Technical Solution Design: Oversee the transformation of high-level designs into technical solutions. Conduct feasibility studies and provide cost estimates.
• Skills Development: Ensure team members have the necessary skills, knowledge, and tools. Address gaps and support professional growth.

Essential Experience:

• Software Development: Extensive experience in software development and engineering, particularly in multi-disciplinary environments with tight deadlines.
• Team Management: Proven experience in managing teams and projects, including recruitment, mentoring, and improving team effectiveness.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in JavaScript or C#.
  • Experience with SQL (preferably T-SQL), Git, and CI/CD processes.
  • Experience with AWS/Azure and cloud-based solutions, including Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Expertise in building full-stack applications and scalable backend platforms.
  • Understanding of MACH architecture principles.
• Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex scenarios and propose technical solutions.
• Stakeholder Management: Excellent skills in managing stakeholders and ensuring alignment with business needs.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with GitHub, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of test automation.
