The U.S. Consulate General in Lagos is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Security Escort (Facility Management Assistant/Escort) within Facility Management. The role involves monitoring and escorting non-cleared visitors and personnel in controlled access areas (CAA) of the Consulate. Duties:

• Escort non-cleared visitors and consulate staff in CAA and other consulate locations.
• Work may require after-hours, weekend, or holiday availability.
• Must hold a Top-Secret Security Clearance to access CAA.
• Perform administrative duties related to customer service for the U.S. Consulate.
• Coordinate with various consulate offices to ensure residential quarters meet Department of State standards.

Qualifications:

• Education: Completion of High School/Secondary School is required.
• Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of prior experience in an office, management, or security-related role.
• Job Knowledge: General knowledge of office working environments.
• Skills and Abilities:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to stand/walk for prolonged periods, climb ladders, work in cramped spaces, and in varying weather conditions.
  • Numerical skills for quick staff calculations in cleared areas.
  • Observant, flexible, and service-oriented.
