Account Officer at Lagoon Hospital

Lagoon Hospitals, established in 1984 by Professors Emmanuel and Oyin Elebute, is Nigeria’s largest private healthcare services group, with six healthcare facilities. We have been delivering healthcare services of international standards since 1986.

Summary of Responsibilities:

• Timely posting of financial transactions and preparation of monthly schedules
• Conducting cost analysis to support operational activities
• Performing timely bank reconciliations for all banks
• Recording receipts and payments in accounting software
• Assisting with the preparation of external audit schedules
• Ensuring all payment methods are operational for improved supplier experience
• Analyzing daily financial activities and reconciling accounts with supplier data
• Contributing to monthly management account reporting

Key Result Areas/Performance Goals:

• Timely delivery of management account reports
• Accurate preparation of necessary schedules (Prepayment, Accruals, Bank Reconciliation Statements, etc.)

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related numerical field
• ICAN/ACCA certification is an advantage
• 5+ years of experience in a finance role
• Experience with management information systems
