Role Overview

As a Direct Sales Agent at Kuda, you will be instrumental in driving our growth through proactive sales, relationship-building, and a commitment to customer satisfaction and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead Generation: Prospect and generate leads through cold calling, networking, and referrals.
  • Product Marketing: Actively market Kuda’s range of financial products, including personal and business banking, loans, and POS terminals, to potential customers in your designated territory.
  • Sales Target Achievement: Meet and exceed monthly sales targets by acquiring new customers and expanding the customer base through persuasive techniques and a thorough understanding of our offerings.
  • Negotiation: Negotiate pricing and terms of sale to close deals while adhering to company pricing guidelines.
  • Demonstrations: Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all bank policies and regulatory requirements, including KYC (Know Your Customer) and AML (Anti-Money Laundering).
  • Client Education: Educate potential clients on the benefits of transitioning to electronic banking solutions and assist with their seamless onboarding to our platform.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and customer interactions using CRM software.
  • Event Participation: Attend roadshows, community fairs, and other local events to promote Kuda’s services and gather leads.
  • Feedback: Provide insights to the marketing and product teams regarding customer experiences and potential product improvements.
  • Customer Support: Understand client needs and provide ongoing support, including training and troubleshooting assistance.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree or HND in Marketing, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Direct Sales Agent or in a similar sales/customer service role, preferably in the banking or financial services sector.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to negotiate and influence potential clients.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, capable of handling multiple priorities efficiently.
  • High motivation, enthusiasm, and dedication to achieving sales targets.
  • Familiarity with digital banking services and mobile technology is a plus.
Targets and Incentives:
  • Monthly sales targets to be achieved.
  • Incentives and bonuses based on meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Additional rewards for surpassing performance goals and achieving high customer satisfaction metrics.
Probation Duration:

The initial three months of employment will serve as a probationary period during which the Sales Agent will participate in training sessions, familiarize themselves with company policies and procedures, and demonstrate their ability to meet sales objectives while providing excellent customer service. Regular evaluations will assess performance and determine eligibility for continued employment.
