Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Senior Product Designer at Kredete Limited to join our team in the fintech sector, focusing on remittance and banking products for both individuals and businesses. The ideal candidate will work with cross-functional teams to develop user-focused design solutions across multiple platforms, while ensuring alignment with our brand identity. They should be capable of working independently, conducting in-depth research, and delivering fast, iterative updates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead design efforts across all company platforms, with a focus on innovative, user-centered strategies for banking and remittance products for individuals and businesses.
• Independently create and manage design assets, including illustrations, motion graphics, and visuals, ensuring they are consistent with the brand’s identity.
• Collaborate with teams from product, engineering, and design departments to ensure alignment with product vision and user experience goals.
• Conduct independent research to understand product requirements, competitors, and user needs, turning insights into actionable design solutions.
• Serve as a hands-on designer, delivering quality work while aligning with business and customer needs, adapting to rapidly evolving product requirements.
• Produce high-quality design assets quickly, maintaining an iterative process without compromising on user experience.
• Promote user-centered design by incorporating feedback from user testing, product teams, and market research into the design process.
• Stay updated on fintech design trends to keep our products competitive and visually appealing in a fast-changing industry.
• Collaborate with the Lead Designer to ensure fast, high-quality delivery while improving design processes across all projects.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Design, UI/UX Design, Interaction Design, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in UX or interaction design, with at least 3 years in a senior role, preferably in fintech, banking, or B2B products.
• Expertise in asset design, illustration, and motion graphics, with a strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design across web, mobile, and desktop platforms.
• Proficient in design thinking, rapid prototyping, and design systems, with experience scaling designs for complex, multi-feature products.
• Deep understanding of fintech, especially banking and remittance services, with experience designing for individual and business users.
• Ability to manage fast-paced design processes while ensuring continuous improvements and quick product deliveries.
