Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Officer to lead efforts in safeguarding our organization’s information systems, data, and network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have expertise in cybersecurity, risk management, and compliance within the fintech space.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain robust security policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Conduct regular audits, assessments, and risk analysis to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.
• Monitor security alerts, incidents, and events to ensure quick and effective responses.
• Collaborate with IT and development teams to secure the design and deployment of fintech applications.
• Manage access control systems, ensuring proper user authentication and authorization.
• Conduct employee training programs to foster a security-conscious culture.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks and industry standards (e.g., GDPR, PCI-DSS).
• Investigate security breaches, incidents, and threats, providing detailed reports and recommendations.
• Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and solutions.

Network Security Responsibilities:

• Design and implement network security measures to detect and prevent unauthorized access.
• Configure and maintain security tools, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
• Develop network segmentation strategies to protect sensitive areas.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
• Monitor network activity for potential threats and collaborate with incident response teams.
• Develop and maintain network security policies and procedures.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related fields.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a security-focused role, preferably in fintech.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, protocols, and technologies.
• Experience with firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, encryption, and endpoint protection.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (e.g., GDPR, PCI-DSS, ISO 27001).
• Expertise in network security tools and technologies (e.g., firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs).
• Experience in network architecture and design.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with the capacity to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills to explain complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) are highly desirable.
• Knowledge of AWS technologies and Linux is a plus.
