About the Role:

Corporately Lucid’s African Freelancers is seeking a talented Freelance Writer to produce high-quality content for various mediums. This freelance role involves developing articles, interviews, social media posts, newsletters, and other written materials. The writer will work with the team to align content strategies with company goals, ensuring that all work resonates with our audiences and optimizes user engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create various content types, including articles, interviews, features, news, social media posts, and newsletters.
• Research industry topics and generate ideas for fresh content.
• Draft, edit, and proofread content with attention to consistency in style and voice.
• Optimize content for SEO and user experience.
• Distribute content on platforms like social media, email, and websites.
• Work with team feedback to refine and improve content.
• Analyze data from CMS and metrics tools to enhance future content.
• Uphold content originality and avoid plagiarism and AI-generated content.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Communication or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of writing experience, with a track record in content development.
• Strong grasp of content marketing, SEO/SEM, and marketing analytics.
• Proficiency in CRM software, CMS, and Google Analytics.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to interpret data, meet KPIs, and work with cross-functional teams.
• A portfolio of completed works.
• Own personal laptop or computer.
