Fund Manager at The People Practice

Our client, a provider of diverse investment management products and services, is seeking an experienced Fund Manager to oversee investment portfolios and optimize returns. The ideal candidate will develop and execute robust investment strategies, conduct market analyses, and ensure the growth of assigned funds while collaborating with the funds team. Extensive knowledge of global financial markets and investment strategy formulation is essential.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement investment strategies for portfolios.
  • Conduct in-depth market research to identify profitable opportunities.
  • Manage diverse investment portfolios, including fixed income, hedge funds, private equity, and real estate funds.
  • Monitor portfolio performance, analyze investment metrics, and adjust strategies to optimize outcomes.
  • Assess and mitigate investment risks effectively.
  • Maintain relationships with fund managers, brokers, and industry professionals for insights and market updates.
  • Lead and mentor a team of investment professionals, fostering collaboration and performance.
  • Generate and present periodic reports on fund performance and market trends to stakeholders.
  • Align fund strategies with organizational goals in collaboration with senior leadership.
  • Stay updated on market developments, financial tools, regulatory changes, and industry trends.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • 7–10 years of experience in investment management, with at least 3 years leading an investment team.
  • Certifications such as CFA or equivalent credentials are an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of investment vehicles, strategies, and market dynamics.
  • Familiarity with due diligence processes, portfolio management systems, and tools like Bloomberg or FactSet.
